Migration to the new integration by the end of February.
You are receiving this email because your account on mamedev.ch contains at least one active license for the TWINT for WooCommerce plugin, but the new integration via the mame servers has not yet been set up.
Since version 6.0 of the TWINT for WooCommerce plugin, the new integration via the mame servers has been available. This integration offers enhanced security and improved performance, as the payment process no longer runs on your own server. In addition, certain features, such as subscription payments and Express Checkout, are only supported with the new integration.
The previous integration using your own server and a TWINT certificate is currently still available alongside the new integration, but it will no longer be supported as of March 1, 2026. Shops still using the old integration via their own server and TWINT certificate should therefore migrate to the new integration by the end of February 2026.
Here you can find a step-by-step guide
Transaction fees:
0.3% (minimum CHF 0.20). The TWINT transaction fees (typically 1.3%) remain unchanged.
Note: The additional transaction fees cover the operational and infrastructure costs (server operation, security, monitoring, and support). The TWINT fees remain unchanged
Plugin license (unchanged):
The WooCommerce plugin license costs CHF 99.- per year per shop, as before, or CHF 69.30 per year for subsequent years with consecutive renewal (30% discount).
Log in to the WordPress backend of your website and go to “WooCommerce > Settings > TWINT”.
If an API Token and an API Webhook Key are entered under the API connection section, you are already using the new integration.
If a Store UUID is entered instead, you are still using the old integration.
If you have any questions or need help with the setup, you can contact us directly via the support form in your account at mamedev.ch.
